TMZ reports that the man that changed the face of music on television has died from an apparent suicide.

Cops were called out to his California home this morning around 4 am, Houston time and found him with a seemingly self-inflicted gushot wound.

He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He was 75.  R.I.P.

Turns out 2 of Beyonce’s biggest stans fans are in the very, very early stages of building a shrine of sorts to the Houston native.

They collectively form Armdeonce Ventures, a self-described “business venture, brand development, and marketing company”.

The pair claim to have the support of the city of Houston and are looking for investors as well as scoping locations for their monument.

Cash Money Records co-CEOs, Ronald “Slim” Williams and Brian “Baby” Williams have been named in a lawsuit involving the sexual assault  of a Georgia woman that took place in the bathroom of a recording studio.

The attacker, Alfred Cleveland has already been tried and convicted and is currently serving time on the sexual assault charge, but victim Nicole Westmoreland says the label is responsible for what happened to her there because Alfred Cleveland was an associate of the company.

She was allegedly offered $100K to keep quiet, but refused when she says they threatened to kill her if she didn’t comply.

No word on what kind of damages she’s seeking.

So, back in November, it was reported that Cash Money emcee, Bow Wow owed $91K to the IRS and that there was a lien against his Florida condo.

Bow has vehemently denied these claims, even penning a long ass blog crusading against the very blogs that allegedly lied about his tax situation.

Well, fast forward to January 2012 and apparently we’re lying again.

TMZ reports that Bow Wow owes, not only for 2006, but for 2008 and 2010 as well.

2 new liens were filed in the state of Georgia recently for unpaid taxes from those years.

Now a new lien was filed on January 9, this time in Georgia, saying Bow Wow owes $15, 279.62 for unpaid taxes from 2008 and another $19.700.91 for 2010.

Damn, homie, that brings your “imaginary” tax bill up to nearly $127K

The collective that Slim signed will be releasing their first Shadyville joint on May 15th..The album, named, Our House, will be executive produced by Marshall himself and will undoubtedly be dope.

Simon Cowell is partnering with Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith for a new reality competition series searching for the world’s best DJ.

Cowell’s SYCO Entertainment is partnering with the couple’s Overbrook Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television to launch the format, which is expected to be shopped internationally and domestically, according to The Hollywood Reporter.“DJs are the new rock stars. It feels like the right time to make this show,” Cowell said in a statement announcing the news. Cowell tweeted about the as yet untitled DJ show Wednesday, clarifying his role in the potential series.(BlackAmericaWeb)

Even though he’s expected to be a boss, that will be the extent of his involvement with the show

Rapper, DMX was rushed to a hospital once he landed in North Caorlina and bad seafood was to blame.

According to DMX, he had some “bad shrimp” at his baby mama’s house in Miami before he got on a plane – commercial – and then spent most of the flight tossing his cookies in the lavatory.
X tells us … as soon as he touched down he went to Gastonia Memorial Hospital outside of Charlotte … by limousine. Puking, but still balling!!

Vulture caught up with Rock at Sundance, where he is debuting his Julie Delpy indie 2 Days In New York and the comedian admitted that rumors that him and Chappelle had some validity.”I’ve been talking to Chappelle a lot. Been trying to get Chappelle to go on tour,” Rock said.

Rock cites the hip-hop super-duo’s success as inspiration for their interest in working together.

According to Rock, the tour hinges on Chappelle’s thumbs up. “You know I’m not the hard one,” he said to Vulture, while laughing. ”But I’m trying to make that happen. After seeing Kanye and Jay-Z, I was like, ‘Me and Dave should do this.’”
